Anna & Jason – A Classic, Intimate Wedding at The Club at King’s Chapel

October 12, 2024

Some weddings feel like a quiet exhale in the best way. Anna and Jason’s day was exactly that. Intentional, deeply personal, and centered around what actually matters. With just around 50 of their closest people gathered at The Club at King’s Chapel, their wedding felt less like an event and more like a shared moment. The kind you don’t want to rush through. Anna and Jason met on Hinge and got engaged in November 2023, but their story really came full circle in such a sweet way. Jason proposed at Topgolf, the same place they had their first date, before bringing Anna back to a candlelit setup at home. From the very beginning, they knew they didn’t want anything big or over-the-top. Their vision was clear. A small, traditional, romantic day where they could focus on each other and the people they love most. And that’s exactly what they created.

The morning started in the bridal suite tucked just below the reception space, where Anna got ready surrounded by soft tones of dusty rose, ivory, and blush. One of the most special parts of the day was the energy surrounding Anna and Jason’s wedding party. With a small, tight-knit group by their sides, it felt incredibly intentional and supportive from start to finish. Anna shared such sweet, genuine moments with her bridesmaids and you could tell how much those friendships mean to her. At the same time, Jason and his groomsmen brought this grounded, easygoing presence to the day.

Anna and Jason chose not to do a first look, which made their ceremony even more emotional. Seeing each other for the first time as Anna walked down the aisle inside the chapel felt incredibly intentional. There was this quiet anticipation leading up to it, and when it finally happened, you could feel it in the room.

Their ceremony was traditional and heartfelt, set against the timeless backdrop of the chapel Jason originally found online. It fit their vision perfectly.

After the ceremony, we stepped outside onto the chapel steps for family portraits, followed by time exploring the grounds for bride and groom portraits. The property gave us so many beautiful, natural backdrops, and Anna and Jason were fully present with each other the entire time. No rush, no pressure. Just them.

They made it clear from the start that photos of their people mattered most to them, and that really shaped the flow of the day. It wasn’t about perfect details or staged moments. It was about connection.

The reception carried that same energy into the evening. Thoughtfully simple, warm, and full of genuine moments. From the florals created by Anna’s mom to a cozy guest list and a laid-back atmosphere, everything felt personal.

Before the night wrapped up, they shared a private last dance to one of their favorite songs, a nostalgic pop punk throwback from the early 2000s. It was such a fun, unexpected moment that still felt intimate and completely them.

And as the night came to a close, they exited through a tunnel of sparklers surrounded by their favorite people. The perfect ending to a day that never tried to be anything other than what it was.

Anna and Jason’s wedding is such a beautiful reminder that a thoughtfully curated, intimate day can feel just as impactful as any grand celebration. Every choice they made reflected what mattered most to them, and it created a day that felt deeply personal and intentional from start to finish.

And that’s what made it truly unforgettable.
